For Czechfest, we pride ourselves on having activities all day for just about everyone. Even better, the majority are included in your price for admission. Below is a sampling of what we have planned for 2025 (schedule being finalized). You’ll notice that there is a lot for your kids and adults alike. Lodge 88 prides itself on being a place for all. That said, we typically schedule things such that the kids activities happen earlier in the day and trend towards adults as we move towards dark.

  • Czech Marketplace in the Chandelier Ballroom. Check out all of the great offerings from our vendors while being entertained by live music.

    • NOTE: Kolaches from Hruska’s and Kolache Shoppe sold here. This gets asked alot.

  • Bounce Houses and Fair Games for the kids.

  • Puppet shows - Actually a big part of Czech heritage. It was really useful in training our culture during occupation by certain neighbors. There are shoppes all over in Prague.

  • The Czechfest Olympics: Compete in events like Stein Holding and Kolache Eating (for speed).

  • The Grand March - You’ll know this well if you have ever been to a Czech wedding. If not, just grab a partner, get in line, and follow the leaders. Should kick off about 5:30pm, but check the schedule on the day of,

  • Face Painter and Balloon Artists because apparently our kids love this stuff.

  • Pumpkin Patch and Crafts.

  • Official Czechfest 2025 Merchandise because our logo is really cool and you will want to remember how much fun you had.

  • We also have a pretty sweet playground for the kids to enjoy.
